Custom Shirts Online Under $100

I saw this on Thrillist today (got to give credit where it's due) and thought this was such a cool idea. We all know the custom shirt companies started popping up a few years ago to make custom shirts a staple in a mans closet. But the luxury to do it all online, why is this just now coming out?! Maybe its not and I'm just hearing about it, but still I think it's a fabulous idea! Luxury and convenience-what's better!

Second Button currently only offers men's shirts in the following styles: classic, alternative, western, military and utility. Once you pick a style, you then get to customize the fabric, collar, cuffs, buttons, placket, pocket, back, bottom of the shirt and for between $70-$85! If you're nervous to drop around $80 on shirt online you can also schedule a Skype appt with a representative to help with measurements etc. We are so digital these days!

I'm loving white tights especially with boots. It's hard to see but these speckled tights are like that dot frosting...there's tons of tiny specs of color on these tights. Great with distressed brown tall boots because let's face it who wants their entire leg to be white since it's not always the most flattering color. Pair with a jumper or shift-style dress.

Last but not least, Wolfords are hands down the best pair of tights you can buy. I highly recommend everyone buying a pair and they will change your life. No more drawer full of cheap tights, all you need is one pair of solid opaque Wolfords (velvet or satin) tights. I swear! They are at least a year investment and that's with some solid use. Completely durable as long as your wash in the lingerie bag or in the sink.

A Plethora of MENUS!

In my first NY tutorial, by my BFF informed me about the ever-so helpful MenuPages site. What's incredible about this site is that you can simply search for a specific restaurant, by neighborhood, price point, or by type of cuisine and presto your narrowed down list of yummy choices pops up! It certainly saves more time than let's say going to each restaurants site that you're interested in and trying to find a PDF of the menu of their site.

So, I got an alert this morning that MenuPages is now expanding across the pond to include both London and Paris. I mean, j'adore! This would have been so helpful when I was living abroad. Of course there's no comparison to walking around and making new restaurant discoveries, but having one resource to search and look at local restaurants menus is pretty convenient. MenuPages.com currently offers guidance in New York, San Fran, LA, Philly, Beantown, Chi-town, DC, Miami/Palm Beach and now London and Paris.

Seriously one of the best ways for a foodie to get around in a new city and certainly more accessible and easier on the eye than let's say Time Out or any travel guide. In my opinion this site comes close to the invention of the iPhone Maps App. Just a thought...MenuPages would be even more fab if they partnered with an OpenTable-type of site and you could book on the spot. Still, for the time being the MenuPages site is pretty great!

Steamy McSteamer

If you are still using an iron, STOP. Invest in a steamer and it will make your life so much easier! I've always been a fan of travel steamers, especially when going to a wedding and you can't exactly iron your dress for the evening. But it gets better! You can buy a professional size steamer on the cheap. A friend of mine got one and now I'm hooked. It's certainly comparable to that of buying an iron and ironing board and definitely less prep work; with the steamer you just fill it up with water, turn it on and it's ready to go within seconds. No more messing with that annoying ironing board!
